Sariska Campout
The Troop went to Sariska to learn some fascinating things about astronomy as well as going on a safari.
The Troop went to a place called Chambal where they hiked, camped, and went along the river in boats.
The Troop went to Nalagarh Fort Hotel and camped on their grounds. The scouts camped and went hiking during the campout and set up camp.
The day started off with a bunch of energetic scouts, most of whom were excited to go for the hike ("Yay! We're going to hike ten miles!!"). As we started walking, we noticed many things, such as the abundant forest wildlife and numerous thorny plants, which stabbed multiple peoples shoes (myself included ) and generally caused a nuisance. And as we were walking, we noticed numerous pleasant and amazing sites, such as: The Qutb Minar, rising in the distance, A wonderful smelling sewer, spewing its scent into the air, A lake so clogged with muck and slime up that if you threw a rock into it, it would bounce back with a splash, Several wrong turns in the paths, which left us completely confused and lost, A temple overrun by goats, And finally, at the very end, a troop of monkeys swinging above a lake, a dead cow lying below them (there were several arguments on whether it was sleeping or simply just deceased, having being killed by the monkeys: as you can see, the conversations were very pleasant) And then, at last, a wonderful gate through which the weary scouts climbed through and dropped into their cars, feasting on the chocolate and soft drinks kindly provided by Mr.Max.
